How fast can I make my mortgage company foreclosure on my house?

Thursday 29 July 2010 @ 2:40 am
foreclosure

I havent missed a payment yet but I am planning on moving within 4 months.I will let the house go with March being my last payment. Is there anyway I can help my mortgage company expedite the foreclosure? This is probably a strange question but I would like to know if it is possible to get the house out of my name within 4 months.
I know it will affect my credit but I cant sell the house because it is worth way less then what I bought it for.

We have a rental property that we can no longer afford payments. If it goes into foreclosure, will they come after our wages or make us do a 1099? We do not want to do a short sale.

I live in Georgia and I have been receiving letters for my landlord from lawyers. I am suspecting that my home may be at risk of foreclosure. My landlord has told us nothing and I am worried that I may lose the house I am renting. Having no time to prepare and I am afraid that I will be out in the streets with no place to go. Can anyone please offer any help or steps I need to take in regards to this?

Is it possible to transfer the title to a irrevocable trust fund if you are in threat of foreclosure? I don’t own a home, just wonder if it’s an realistic plan for people who have lost their jobs and are therefore losing their homes to foreclosure? Thanks.

If your investment home goes into foreclosure what liability do you have?

Thursday 3 June 2010 @ 6:58 am
foreclosure

A friend of mine got screwed into a scam to buy some homes to rent out and supposedly make some money. In the end he has been through many tenants and been unable to make the payments due to lack of renters and the declining market. A couple of them have started to go into pre-foreclosure and he is wondering what liability he will have with the banks if they go into complete foreclosure. He understands his credit is shot…which it already is, but not sure what else he will be liable for….

How Can I Find out if my apartment is going under foreclosure?

Monday 31 May 2010 @ 1:01 pm
foreclosure

Our owner will not let us know and all signs are leading to it going under forecloser, but we (my mother and I) do not know if it will be going under foreclosure or not, and we do not want to find out at last minute that we have to leave. On Monday I will be going to the building’s office to find out what I can find out. If anyone can please point me to any office I can call, or if there is anywhere I can check out if it will be going under or is under foreclosure?

Thanks,
Stephen.
