I have a fico score with Equifax of 743. I have no open accounts and very little debt. I closed all my credit card accounts and have been debt free for years, but now I need to open a new one to raise my credit and fico scores because the fact that I have no credit cards is hurting it a little. How likely is it that I’ll be approved for one of their cash back reward cards?

Are there any Down payment assistance programs for an FHA loan? I know most of them are discontinued in New York state.
How do you know what I can Afford. Its a lot easier to pay a monthly payment than shell out $5000 at one time.. If you don’t have a helpful answer don’t waste my time and keep your smart ass answers to yourself.
