My husband was in the military and has passed away. Does anyone know if I would still qualify for a VA Loan.

    Contact your local va office. Get the address from the web.
    Go to
    ask the question in simple terms.
    There is also a phamphlet on VA home oans that you can obtain from the VA office near you.

    I think that the VA will be your best bet…. Did you husband pass while on Active Duty?? If he did or if he completed at least 20 years of active duty service… you may still qualify.

    VA benefits are your husbands and not yours.
