There is a bank owned foreclosure that has been vacant for 4 years and I am interested in it how do I get it?

foreclosure bill

The house is not on the market and the bank claims they have no record of the house, but they are paying the taxes on the house and the city forestry bills when the city cuts the grass. How do I go about getting this house. It is falling apart and I can’t get a straight answer from anyone. Wells fargo bank is on the deed as owners and they are paying all the bills……..

Have you tried checking to see if there is a sheriff’s deed? Or a bankruptcy? My suggestion is to call the REO dept at the bank and tell them your interest in the property. What I always do is ask for the attorneys handling the property if they won’t give any information. Trust me, if the bank owns it, they want to get rid of it.

If you have verified with the county recorder that Wells Fargo is indeed the owner, thats where you need to go. The trick is finding the right department within the bank. It won’t be the retail bank branch.
