How long does it take to get an answer when applying for an FHA loan?

I faxed all the paperwork needed to get a pre-qualification on an FHA loan today and our lender will probably submit the documents tomorrow morning. About how long would it be to get the answer? And after getting the pre-qual. how long does it take to close on a property once picked?

Violation of copyright through digital piracy (e.g. Pirating software, movies, books, etc.) or Predatory Lending?

Predatory lending is where a person intentionally loans money to someone who would have a difficult time paying it back. They do this so that they earn the maximum interest back and charge stiff penalties for late payments.

Some people believe that digital piracy isn’t actually theft since they are not denying the property to it’s rightful owner. It is illegal.

Predatory lending robs the poorest of the poor, keeping them indebted for long periods of time. It is legal in most states.

How long does it take for a VA loan pre-approval to expire?

What is a good time frame to get a VA loan pre-approval, then find a home to purchase and close the loan? Is there an expiration of the pre-approval? 30-60-90 days?

How can I find a mortgage broker in Florida that deals with FHA constuction or rehab loans?

I want to make an offer on a property in Florida but would like to be pre-qualified first. It has a mobile home on it and I don’t know if I will need a construction loan or rehab loan? What’s the best way for me to proceed?

Is McCain for tougher lending standards? ?

I thought I heard that he was, but then I found his voting record. He voted against a measure to discourage predatory lending practices and failed to vote on a bill that would overhaul the mortgage lending practices of the Federal Housing Administration. S. 256, Vote #22, 3/3/05; S. 2338, Vote #432, 12/14/07

Can anyone clarify his stance?
